Looking With An American Tourist
At the colossal seated figure of U.S. President Abraham Lincoln (1809–1865). It was sculpted by Daniel Chester French (1850–1931) and carved by the Piccirilli Brothers.

Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States, serving from March 1861 until his assassination in April 1865. One of his quotes is:
"America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."

I believe these words apply to every country not only America!
